Welcome to ABM.Reads & You where each day is a new page, and we are the authors of our story.

I’m passionate about writing, wellbeing, nature and discovering new places. These are the themes I will be exploring and sharing with you here.

A bit about myself…

My journey with writing and storytelling began early. Growing up as a 90s kid, I experienced an analog world free of incessant notifications and instant gratifications.

Picture this: the sun blazing down on a dusty gully, the air filled with the sounds of spirited cricket matches. The afternoons were a symphony of laughter and the rustling leaves of a much-loved banyan tree, where we sought refuge from the scorching heat. As the day turned to dusk, the world seemed to slow down. Evenings were spent in the company of Blyton, Dickens, Conan Doyle, and Ruskin Bond. Their words transported me to distant lands, and with pen and paper in hand, I wove my own tales.

It didn’t take much to bring a smile to my face – the sight of Sachin playing cricket on TV, the soothing touch of Dida oiling my hair, and the comforting taste of my mother’s aloo posto.

As a grown adult, my days are a delicate dance between the pragmatism of a corporate job, the relentless pursuit of keeping my passion for writing alive, and the serene moments spent in nature.

And let’s not forget the occasional comic relief – like trying to meditate or attempting to write a masterpiece while the neighbor’s lawnmower provides the soundtrack. Life’s little quirks keep things interesting!

I am an outdoor enthusiast. I live in sunny Sydney which gives me ample opportunities to explore the ocean, beaches and the bush.

But mostly, I am a starry-eyed dreamer whose storytelling is fueled by the optimism of masala chai. And of course, a well-brewed cup of coffee!

My work includes:
Terribly Mushy Tales: An Anthology of Love Stories, just some whispers of the heart…

The Fall Before the Rise (Partridge publication).

One of my short stories, Something about Karen, was selected through a nationwide contest to be published in the book An Atlas of Love (Rupa Publications).

Thanks for tagging along on this journey! I hope my stories and experiences spark your passions, help you appreciate the beauty of nature, and find joy in life’s simple moments. Let’s keep writing our stories together, one page at a time.

Feel free to drop me a line to share your thoughts or simply to wave hello!
